And Once Again

Yeah, I fucked things up...again. I had been thinking it was time for a change around here, but this was certainly not the way I wanted to go about it. Changes will be ongoing for the next few hours, I guess this is what I will be doing gaming wise tonight.

Ok, things got a bit out of hand there for awhile, I'll still be tweaking a few things, some obvious and some not. Now that Will has complained about the lack of topics I will have to see what I can do to fix that. Hopefully this will kill the stupid proverbial birds, by forcing Kerry out of the woods and into the Visceraman drivers seat.

Not S.O.A.P.

Because They're Lazy?

I stumbled across an article penned by James Dean 69 (teehee), not surprisingly on a most appropriate myspace.com site.

Sweet Fuckin Jesus, thank you James. Thank you for shedding a bit of light on why women really have abortions. Pure, unadulterated laziness. I would hazard a guess that ol' Jimmy69 wouldn't have the balls to stand in a room full of women and tell them that they had abortions because they were lazy.

Not Withstanding

What two weeks since an entry? Well, I have no excuse.

And really nothing much to say either.

I broke my prep sink (there really should be a better term for that) at work, pushing me behind a bit, adding a bit of tension as the body count climbed higher. This has been fixed, perhaps I'll post a photo; however it was fun listening to the same tired jokes again and again as the plumbing crew set about installing the newly fabricated sink. I had my first violin lesson, while I didn't get to play what I've been working on day after day after day, it was a good lesson. I was a bit nervous going into it, but that vanished a few notes into the first scale I played. The lesson itself seemed more interesting than any I remembered from the past (except the ones where I was yelled at for not playing music as written). More explanations of why things were instead of just being told what to do. I'm looking forward to this weeks...perhaps I'll take another day off to prepare for it. (Threw that in for you Jeri....).

Jarhead wasn't quite as good as I'd hoped, Walk the Line better than expected. Last night's Soprano's was odd, and we haven't finished watching Big Love yet. Speaking of Big Love, Kerry sent tracking numbers, and our presents should arrive tomorrow. I'll have to send his box out this week, otherwise Jeri is going to have my ass. Ok, she won't have my ass, she'll just steal the skull I picked up for him.

Speaking of skulls, the first skull my beetle colony cleaned is done. It's pretty slick looking, I really should take some pictures of it, and the colony in action. Jeri has forbidden taking the digital camera to work, and is insisting that I take her Pentax. I'm worried about something happening to it while it's in my custody.....

Seth, first, I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. I'm ready for a frosty mug of hops and some sort of mischief. Don't think I won't strut into that pub like Tom Membrila. (There's a guy at work, not really at work since he's in a totally different department that walks llike that.) Anyway, while reading the Pessin's boyscoutish blog entries, I clicked on the PALO VERDE link, and found a few myspace pages, Jeremy Baran, Tammy Keith, Rachel Brown, Koko Green and a few others. I'll have to find the links again and post them here. It seems like we're the only ones from that school who haven't deemed it necessary to procreate like fiends.

Will, still waiting on business proposal. Jeri says she's mailed invites to you and Seth for some sort of gala.

New Enterprises

I'm putting together a serach committee for candidates that will be part of the steering committee tasked with the design, development and implentation of the new enterprise that will be launched, hopefully mid-Spring (read previous discussion). I'm not really sure how the bloodletters, the shipping guru, the organizer and the fat bald guy carrying a nest of dermestid beetles is really going to parlay itself into anything other than, 4 people sitting around, drinking beer, eating crackers and watching porn. Is there money to be made in that? I better start nosing around to see what sort of NIH funding can be had for such a venture. Scratch that, we'll have the search committee put together a committee to look into that. Meanwhile, Mr. Brunson, I'm ready for the first installment of my porn viewing, I'll swap you a *Mystery Box*. Do you need my address?
