Are they a good price, also what kind of selection do they have, I wan't all the details. I read that you have to be careful with estate pipes because sometimes the bowl has been burnt out, I don't know how easy that is to notice or not.

Now you should know going into this that I don't have much of a sweet tooth. I had picked up some Cherry Almond a few months ago, because I had read a number of positve comments about it's room note over at www.tobaccoreviews.com. I had to go back to tobaccoreviews.com to see what I could find out about the Blend #2 you got. The reviews said it was Mixture 79 sold in bulk form, in which case it may get your attention pretty quick. I haven't written my "review" of Mixture 79 for Visceraman1 yet, so I won't go into too much detail...when I first lit it, I thought I had sprayed the inside of my mouth with perfume. It was very floral, almost soapy in fragance and it took over my entire mouth. Bleck! Not only did it coat my mouth with the taste, but also my pipe - it took a number of bowls to completely rid the taste from it.

Then, a few weeks ago I revisted the Mixture 79 (because I can't throw things away). This time it was still perfumy, but I picked up Anise, which I really like. I didn't hate it as much, and even finished the pouch.

Mars is awesome; they're only carrying the Fox and Hound in 2 pound cannisters now which is good and bad...more to buy, more to smoke...but now I have to buy containers to store the crap in.

I paid $6.00 for the pipe from a hostile old man who knew nothing about the pipe. He had others in his case, but I like this one the best. From Tinderbox, I also liked Black Russian and I enjoy Captain Spice. My dear friend recommends Lamp Lighter, but our local shitstore doesn't carry it. Connoseur is pretty good, heavy on the latakia.
