Dear Diary: So That's What It Tastes Like

Ardent readers will of course know that my brief absence has been due to participation in a recruiting mission for The Unification Church. This time, our travels took us through the Northern region of Nigeria, where I was reuinited with K-Dog's in-laws. I'll have more to say on this a bit later, trust me.

Did you get any fishing done at Lake Tchad? Do they still use silver fish flies when fishing the Benue? Which flies are best for fishing the Niger?

I and the Rev. felt that the best lures were actually a 2 1/4 inch Mighty Ike, or some Nacho Cheese flavoured marshmallow things.

(Which incidentally, I had a hell of a time keeping Jeri out of.)
