Dear Diary: Almondine

Yeah, I beat the month mark...barely. How...ever, that month flew by, and I was too engrossed in some damned game called Xeno Tactic to write about any of the major events....of which there were at least 3.

1. The city finally put speed bumps (humps?) on our street. This is helping a little with the bastards from Tucson's East Side who feel it necessary to speed up and down our street in an attempt to avoid 1st Avenue traffic.

2. Jeri's been feeding a number of strays that were birthed in our shed. (Birthed from an uncaring, hateful mother cat). About two weeks ago now, I opened the door to feed them, when the little boy kitten (the numbers dwindled drastically due to mother cats disdain), bolted inside and began eating alongside the other cats. I'm not sure how he became so tame, so quickly, but now, Bagheera is here to stay. Neutered of course. Pictures to follow someday.

3. Went to Los Angeles with the parents to attend my brother's wedding. My favourite part was Sorrento's Italian Market (which, I now have to find more Dry Sausage in Oil because I am 'bogarting' it, sorry Doug!). I also did have a good time in the garment area, shopping for Doodle, finding that special knickknack for K-$ and so forth.

4. In my absence K-Dog, did NOT help out around the joint. I still have 4 more things to remove (not as gross as what he removed this week thank you Margaret Truman!)

5. Of course, returning home.

Violin is well, I won't go into detail on what I'm doing just yet.

The Kite Runner is a very good read.

Do I like Man Vs. Wild better than Survivorman?

Until next time...........

Even if man vs wild is fake I still prefer it over survivor man. Sorry I haven't been able to return your calls Jeri. Wait you never fucking call me. Oh and I said hi to Raza for you, and boy was that a mistake. When I fulfilled your request of telling her hi I thought it would end with that. I'll say it was too much conversation for me (especially since I don't really know her that well) I had to hear about weddings, Eddy and Renee, Clair, how cool it is that your husband is a mortician, the list goes on and on.

But didnt you really just gaze at where her neck should be? She does get excited, lean in, make eyes real big, clap her hands oy! But at no point did I hear what a terrific vein finder Ive become or how I woo fellow employees with my sarcasm.

I think that Man vs wild is a bit to scripted for me..and survivor man just happens to be crazy but i enjoy both..i watch that channel to much..i have seen every episode of mythbusters, how its made and dirty jobs..Meerekat Manor anyone?

I think a disgruntled camera man from Man vs Wild revealed that the show is fake. That Bear doesn't find his own food, and that he doesn't have any knowledge of what he's talking about. I read something that said he just hears about the native surroundings from park rangers on set. I do like myth busters, I haven't watched dirty jobs in quite some time. Oh yes, and sorry Jeri Blank I left out the conversations about your vein skills in my last comment, but we talked about how amazing you are at venipunctures. I met a girl named Samantha who said she met you when she did her externship at Sonora Quest. I would also like to extend an invitation some time soon for the Lopez family to come over and drink. Look for an official invite sometime hopefully before the end of the year. I know it bothers you Blank, but you can still call sometime. Just look in the phone book under Jeremy Prince.

Is Samantha the cute little mixed girl? Is she at the Red Cross? I had very little interaction with her, as I might negatively influence fresh hopefuls, with my sarcasm.

I heartily accept the invite to the Thead/Prince homestead for proper imbibing, hopefully a mooched cigarette and the so forths.

Having learned of the alleged *fraud* of Bear, I do hear him say things like "I'm not staying hear tonight, but if I was...." etc. He's still way more manly thay I could hope to be.

Survivorman, I like him...I just wish he wouldn't put a microphone next to his throat so I had to listen to him chew.

And Tragic, I thought very hard about mentioning your visit, but then I remembered...I wasn't invited.

Raza (and the rest of her family), cannot remember my name. Not even for 10 minutes.

It's not that you weren't invited but it seems as tho you had a prior engagement with a certain family member that you were obligated to see. there is always the next time..

Now....do you wear a flowing, fluffy robe when you do that?

Posted by: Joshua at November 7, 2007 08:21 AM

I wear my cowboy gear with a (Ann) Bowline tie

Hello miss doodle..i do hope you are doing well...my beer has come along rather nicely and is ready for consumption by the weekend...i am sooo ready for the great tragic beer....

Posted by: Tragic at November 8, 2007 06:51 PM

Whenever I do those sort of things, I find it best to strip into just my panties. It's less shocking to Doodle that way.

I was going to say "not beer related", but it seems to apply there as well.

but you do still wear your boots and spurs?

Posted by: kerry at November 9, 2007 11:16 AM

Don't forget a hat of some sort...cowboy or other wise..perhaps a nice top hat or beret' would go nicely with matching panties...
