Puffed

Mother always told me that "everything tastes good in puff pastry". So, I took a bit of leftover porterhouse from Sullivan's (Thank you Bill!), and wrapped it up. Mother did not lie!

But before I got fully distracted and started wrapping pickles, olives, bacon and Crisco in the pastry, I had to finish peeling and cooking my apples. Because, somethings are even better in pastry:

I also made a unctuous banana bread, the kids at Sonora Quest (note: New Location!) were the lucky recipients of that.

Blow Jeri!

I'm not sure why there's no "final" picture for this, had I not been so lazy, I'd have explored that possibility and taken a picture just before polishing off the last of them for lunch.

Mini-Chichen Pot Pie!.

Borrowing from the Peterson Family Recipe, and pulling a few other things out of various places, I made these little guys:

Enjoy!

Damn Slackers

Obviously Doodle & Kerry are just to god damn busy to update anything...fine. I'll do it myself.

There was a small trek North just a week or so ago. Some might call it a pilgrimmage of obesity, but the reaseon we were going, was to see a friend of Jeri's that was in town. I personally think John's a good guy, sure he tends to be a bit um....spiritual, which is not entirely a bad thing. We had a nice chat....I think he was pissed that we ate at Jack-in-the-Box, instead of the promised Cheesecake Factory...but shit...he of all people should have seen that coming. Here's a quick shot of him being harassed by some lady who sends him "DNA" on a weekly basis. C-R-E-E-P-Y!

We did stay at nice little hotel, and get this....no shit.....Jeri went swimming. Swimming. As in, all the way underwater! Next day was Ikea and Barro's for pizza, wings, beer and wine. Then a sad drive home as we passed the semi whose occupants were burned alive.

Audiolicious!
