Dear Diary: Cold or Cooler?
[Ed. My boss says I really need to edit my photos for this entry. So, under the assumption of her correctness, here we go]
Only but a week ago, I found myself sitting in a much less aggravating climate: everything from the temperature, the color, the cleanliness of the city (it's people, streets, air, water)....I suppose I could drone on and on, but I should really just get to the point. Where was I? Had I just left East Tucson? No, clearly, I was in:

Ok, I only spent part of an afternoon strolling through Kerrytown, and the rest of my time was spent in Ann Arbor for the International Plastination Conference, at the University of Michigan.
As any respectable Tucsonan would do upon their arrival to the area, I hit up a certain restaurant that pulled out of Arizona many many years ago (stayed longer than Sambo's though):

The following morning, it was down to brass tacks, attending workshops under the clever direction of Bob Henry

Workshops included such ventures as sheet plastination,

Which has the potential to produce transparent slices like this hoof:

There was some neurovascular colouring taking place:

An impressive display of life's challenges:

And life's corrections

I didn't understand what took place in this building:

But can attest to this being the World's Largest Tire

Next year's conference is in Heidelberg, and from what I can tell, I'll be seated in a coach seat heading there. My Senior Editor/Boss/Fearless Leader/German Translator - Doodle, will be headed there as well, I think there might be a few more pictures to sort through upon our return.
